Jezebel Express is an internationally celebrated burlesque performer who got her start in her home province of Newfoundland & Labrador in 2004! Though Jezebel’s parents made the questionable decision to move to Iowa when she was in grade school, Jez moved back home to St. John’s as a young adult, and brought burlesque to the island, creating the province’s first cabaret troupe, The Purity Girls.

Jezebel has been named one of Burlesque’s Top 50 several times, and founded the “Ones To Watch” initiative, which encourages burlesque’s top performers to raise others into the spotlight alongside them. She spent over a decade dancing in New York City’s burlesque scene and serving as a core faculty member at The New York School of Burlesque. She is currently touring the US in her self-converted skoolie with the goal of performing in all 50 states (she’s eyeing the Canadian provinces and territories next!) Jezebel has been featured in the New York Times. on Good Morning America, and can be seen on the silver screen in the documentary Getting Naked and the Czech film Burlesk. She is, to her knowledge, the only fat woman to have ever performed a full burlesque striptease on the runway at New York Fashion Week.

Jeez Loueez is an award-winning entertainer, emcee, producer, and instructor based in New Orleans. A lethal combination of drama, hilarity, and killer kinetics, Jeez Loueez is a powerhouse that’s taken stages across the world by storm for over 15 years! Whether cracking jokes on the microphone, or serving up irreverent, unmatched performances, she’s a consummate force that’s become one of the most memorable personalities of modern burlesque. Seamlessly blending high camp, low brow, and relatable comedy, she’s known for disarming and charming any audience.

Jeez took home the titles of Miss Viva Las Vegas 2012, Shimmy Showdown Champion 2013, Southern Fried Burlesque Queen 2014, and Queen of the Tease 2023. In 2018, she was voted one of the Top 10 Most Influential Figures of the Decade by 21st Century Magazine.

Lou Lou la Duchesse de Rière,  is an Afro-Indigenous interdisciplinary artist and internationally renowned neo-burlesque dancer, and teacher hailing from the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake, Quebec. She began her burlesque career in 2006 and  has since headlined shows across the globe.

She has been voted into the Burlesque Top 50 by 21st Century Burlesque since 2018 and was voted the number one most influential burlesque figure in the world in 2023. 

In September 2018 she made history by becoming the first Indigenous woman to be crowned New Orleans Queen of Burlesque. She holds titles from the 2019 Burlesque Hall of Fame, including Most Innovative. In 2022 she was awarded with the highest title in the burlesque world and was crowned Miss Exotic World.

Her work has been featured on television and film; and has been funded by Canada Council for the Arts, Conseil des Arts and Lettres du Quebec, and Conseil des Arts Montreal.

Lovey began her career at age 17 as a singer with The Scatman Corothers Trio. By age twenty one she was hired by Chuck Landes, of the famous Hollywood Largo, as a featured exotic dancer and mistress of ceremonies. She immediately became known for her love of musical theater and her focus on dance with storylines. Lovey traveled to Paris, France where she performed in “The Crazy Horse Saloon” for Alain Bernardin and later joined a ballet from Paris to do a world tour.

Upon returning to the States, she took a job as lead dancer and line captain at The World Famous Losers Niteclub and later moved to Las Vegas where she performed at the Cabaret Burlesque Palace. She appeared repeatedly on The Merv Griffin Show while the show filmed at Caesar’s Palace. Lovey was inducted into The Burlesque Hall of Fame in 2014 and currently travels to appear in Burlesque Festivals nationwide.
